Church in the Park
ADOPT-A-BLOCK
Every 4th Saturday of each month, we meet at the Dream Center of Sarasota on 17th Street West
of US-301 on the north side of the road. From 9:00am – 12:00pm, we participate in the Adopt-A-Block. Come join us as we go out to the surrounding community to help clean up the streets from debris, pray with those who need prayer, and bring hope those who need to hear about Jesus. Clothing and shoe donations are always appreciated. Clothes and shoes must be in "Jesus" condition. For more information, please contact Tom Olma.
FEEDING THE HUNGRY
God has released Jim & Linda & Laura Cole to take serving to the next level. The "Tremendous Trio" are volunteering their time and resources in helping prepare meals for Church in the Park on Sunday. Please contact them if you have a desire to help them with their ministry or have food donations that are fit for the KING.
Church at the Springs
Each month, join Joe and Vikki Bisconti as they bring the Good News to those at The Springs Nursing home. Many of the residents are unable to attend church services on a regular basis. Joe and Vikki bring the church service to them. As they share the love of Jesus with them, an overwhelming sense of joy fills the nursing home. For more details, please contact Joe or Vikki.
Jordon's Crossing
Jordan’s Crossing is a Habitat for Humanity neighborhood which is located around 8th Street and Dodge in Sarasota. H.I.M. has Adopted-this-Block to show the truth and grace God pours on His creation. In the past several months, we have met with the neighborhood children to participate in games, perform short dramas, share God’s truth and love, and hand out LOTS of candy! God has been laying on our hearts to go deeper with the residents in Jordan’s Crossing. As God’s plans unfold, we are excited to see what great adventure He has for H.I.M. and the precious people in this neighborhood.
